Bonners Ferry Thanksgiving

We traveled to Bonners Ferry for Thanksgiving this year.  We started the day with the Turkey Trot.  It was a lot of fun.  The kids ran ahead of us and did it faster than we did.  Sophie ran the whole 5K!

Lily took the trip with us too.

There were lots of opportunities for Cousin pictures...Emma, Baylor, Ceci, Elle, Sophie, Marcus, Olivia, Bear, Lily and Gia.

The kids said sweet little prayers and said what they were thankful for at dinner.

Friday night Santa came to Bonners Ferry to light the Christmas tree.  He came in a fire truck.

More cousin pictures.

It was a cute little area.

There were some cute little props.

My kids were loving the picture ops.

Say cheese!

The kids got to tell Santa what they want for Christmas.

Saturday night the kids got their Christmas PJs from Gramie.  Then they got to decorate cupcakes!

Yum!  Sophie was under the weather so she wasn't there for the cupcake fun.

Look who's almost 9!  Marcus loved his cupcake.

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!

Star Student

We got a phone call on Monday that Marcus was picked as "Star Student" for the month of October by his teacher.  "Star Student" is someone who is respectful, helpful and a good example for the kids.  Today was the assembly.  I was trying to video and take pictures at the same time...so it's a little blurry but this is his teacher handing him his certificate.

Look at all of those stars!

We are so proud of you Marcus!  Great Job!

Happy Veteran's Day

Chattaroy Elementary put on another wonderful Verteran's Day assembly this year.

Marcus is the only one at Chattaroy now.

Riverside also had an assembly.  The 5th grade classes wrote letters to the Veteran's and one child from each class was picked to read their letter.  Emma was picked from her class!

She was first up.  She read her letter to all the Veterans and a huge gym full of people.

She did so well.  I was so proud.

Happy Veteran's Day!  Thank you to all those who have served and are still serving!
