First Volleyball Tournament

The girls are playing volleyball!  They had a little tournament.  It was an Olympic theme so they got to run with flags and get introduced.  They even gave each team a country...our kids were Canada.

The girls play for the CATS team.

The CATS were divided into 2 teams; of course Olivia and Emma ended up on different teams...here is Olivia warming up with her team...see her in the bright pink knee pads?

They even got medals!  In the end Olivia and Emma ended up in the same bracket...Olivia's team took the Bronze Medal in the bracket.

Spokane Empire

The new arena football team is he Empire.  A few of the players came to the school for literacy night to read to the kids.  They were so amazing...so nice to the kids.

Then a couple of nights later we got invited to go to the first Empire game.  Our seats were right on the field!

The mascot is a train engineer...he came to give high fives.

They also have a gerbil.

We went to a fundraising event to support teen dating abuse.  It was date night for us and we got to spend it with our great friends.

We had lots of fun!  Such a great cause too!

Basketball Season for Marcus

Marcus started his basketball season.

Cruz is 6!

We went to Laser Quest for Cruz's 6th Birthday Party today.  It was a Star Wars theme.

The kids got to play Laser Tag twice.  Each game lasted 30 minutes.  They had so much fun!

Cute table...they had Light Sabers (pretzels dipped in chocolate), Han's Rolos, Wookie Cookies, Droid Parts, Death Star Donuts, Ewok Treats to name a few...they even had Vador-ade (aka Gatorade)...so clever.

Olivia, Riley, Emma and Kaydin had so much fun.  The party was great!  Happy Birthday Cruz.

Play Time

It's warming up and the snow is melting fast.  Lily fits right in with the kids.  Emma and Marcus were out playing cowboys and cowgirls with their cap guns and Lily joined in the fun.  First she was content with the big branch.

Then she got some life into her and started to play.

Father Daughters Dance

The Girl Scouts had their annual Father Daughter Dance and the girls wanted to go this year.  They got all dressed up...so pretty.

Daddy got dressed up too...Emma gave him a kiss on the cheek.
