The kids and I had to make a run to the grocery store on Monday evening. While we were there Olivia saw something and got super excited. She kept saying she saw a big mascot for something...she kept shouting "There it is!" but every time I turned around there was nothing...I was wondering if she was seeing things. Then as we were checking out, there it was...the Spokane Chiefs Hockey team was at Fred Meyer raising money and collecting food for the local Food Bank. They asked Olivia, Emma and Marcus if they wanted a picture with everyone...but of course!

Adapting
Lily was pretty shy for the first week we had her. She stuck close to the kids for comfort...so sweet.
She fits in pretty well and got comfortable pretty quickly.
The kids are getting as much time as possible holding her...it won't be long before she is way to big for this.
Mommy and Lily...we spend a lot of time together during the day.
She's getting more comfortable and exploring a lot more...she found the mud! Too cute!

Lily
Meet our newest family member, Lily! We got Lily from Bonners Ferry Idaho. Her original name was Kitty but the sellers told us we could chose whatever name we wanted for her...we all agreed Lily was the perfect name and she seems to already like it. She is an Akbash. We did a lot of research and found that she is the perfect breed to fit in with our lives. We just picked her up today. She's still a little shy and getting to know her surroundings but I think she'll make a great addition to the family. Welcome Lily!

Go Zags!!!
Emma and I went to the Gonzaga Basketball game last night. I had 2 tickets and we couldn't find a sitter so we put all the kids' names in a hat and did a drawing to see who would be my date...Emma's name was drawn! She loved it! It is quite an experience going to a Zags game. They played San Diego and won by a lot. It was really fun to watch Emma experience this. We went with Amber and Cole...Emma and Cole posed for me in front of the Bulldog...it was so much fun! Thanks Amber for the tickets!!!

Fun at the Tilla's
We went to Chewelah to hang out with the Tilla's this afternoon. We brought our sleds along. Marcus showed Easton his little snowmobile sled. Isn't the snow so pretty. Group photo...Easton's twin brothers were napping. We found a little hill so the twins used the toboggan first. Marcus tried his snowmobile sled. He even got fancy and jumped off the little hills on the side. Yep, he's a snow kind of kid. Olivia and Emma pulled Easton up the hill. And down they go, I think Easton likes it. Jordan came along with the 4-wheeler and tube...all the kids hopped on. Marc took our kids around with the 4-wheeler. We did this all day! I finally put my camera away and did some runs down the hill too. It was so much fun. Thanks Tilla's for inviting us out!
Beauty
It's been a cold winter. When Tucker is outside during the day he stays close to the straw to stay warm. He really does love it. We have a ton of snow so far too which we love as well. The sunsets are amazing; the sky has been blue...reminds me a lot of my childhood winters in Montana. I'll take it...so beautiful!
