Christmas Break Fun

The kids were invited to spend some time at Lexie and Javin's house for some sledding and snowmobiling.  I got some pictures texted to me so wanted to share...here are the girls on the tube.

Thanks for inviting us for some fun in the snow!!!

Christmas 2015

We headed to Ellensburg as a family on Christmas Eve.  We spotted some elk on our way there. They were right by the windmills...if you look close, you can see them...so cool. The kids got to playing with the cousins right away...there was lots of snow. Christmas Eve always means cousin matching PJs.  Baylor and Marcus made sure to put out the treats for Santa.  Olivia set up our stockings.

Everyone was up early...we always make them do silly poses before seeing what Santa brought. Olivia and Emma got a huge Lego house.

After Santa gifts the kids hand out the family gifts. Emma shows off some of the volleyball stuff we got her this year.  Olivia and Emma got knee pads, volleyballs, water bottles and backpacks...this is the first year of volleyball for them and they are ready!

Then we had breakfast and Sledding time...Poppi pulls the sleds with the tractor.

The kids decided to make some box trolls.  Ceci and Olivia started the trend. It wasn't long before everyone got in on the fun.  Marcus was serious about his...he drew a whole Minion scene. So cute...Olivia, Sophie, Emma, Gia, Marcus and Ceci.  Elle and Baylor had to go home earlier so they missed this activity.

Grami and Poppi brought out birdhouses for the kids to paint.  Olivia started on hers early. Poppi and Marc played some cards. Marcus got his birdhouse out to paint. Emma did too...it was a fun night.

The last picture is the 2015 Family Christmas Photo!

Merry Christmas Everyone!  Happy New Year too!!!

Winter Wonderland

We weren't able to get the kids to Grami and Poppi's over the weekend due to bad road conditions; so they are stuck at home with me.  We have a ton of snow so they had lots to do.  They started the week in the back field.  Tucker loves the snow too; he was hoping Emma would throw that monster snowball at him. I love to watch them play. I was using my long lense taking pictures from the back deck.  I called out to them and they posed pretty for me.

Snow fun continued yesterday; this time on the show plow pile...King and Queens of the mountain! I caught Emma eating snow.
They tried to build a snow fort using buckets and shovels but it was warming up and snow kept falling off the trees on them so they decided to do something else.  Marcus did a good job cleaning his tools up. We sure do love the snow...we woke up to even more snow this morning.  Their only complaint is it won't stop and they have to shovel the steps and around the garage doors...that's hard work!  But they do a good job.
