We got all dressed up for trick or treating tonight. Emma decided on another costume change...she came up with this all on her own...she's a lumberjack. It rained most of the day so we opted for pictures on the porch. The rain let up so we headed to the back of the field. Pretty appropriate that we have a tree down right now. I thought photos in the field were pretty cool. The wind was blowing just right too...Olivia looks very eery. Emma just kept on coming up with more poses. We even got Tucker to participate. Marcus showed off his guns one last time...oh and a sneak peak at the progress on the pool. We headed up to Scott and Julies for our first trick or treating stop. Then to Mrs. Sweeney's house. And we stuck to tradition and went to the Perry's for the rest of our trick or treating fun. Makayla, Emma, Olivia, Marcus and Bella posed for me. Olivia, Makayla and Emma never miss a beat when they get together. True friends from way back to when they were tiny toddlers. Happy Halloween Everyone!!!

Halloween Fun
Today was the Halloween Party at the school. Emma wanted to bring dipped strawberries that look like pumpkins...so last night we turned white chocolate orange and dipped some strawberries. The girls put green sparkles all over them...they turned out great! Emma the pirate...long story short; she picked out another adorable outfit to go with a ghostly gals theme but it had hoola hoops in it and she was so scared that the dress would be too big. She was very upset about it so we rushed to the store last night and luckily her 2nd choice of costumes was still there! Isn't it adorable? She was one happy girl. We put a cute little spider web on her face. Olivia stuck with the ghostly gal theme...don't you love it? Boo...she had a spider on her cheek...you can't really see it though. The girls have piano lessons at 6:30 on Friday mornings so I got a quick photo before taking them to school for piano. All the while, Marcus (aka GI Joe) was still asleep...so he got his own photo shoot this morning. He was so handsome.
I volunteered in the girls' class for the party this afternoon. They had a contest to see who could build the tallest structures without them falling down. Olivia was working hard. Emma actually won. Her teacher pointed out smart she was using a toothpick to gain extra height while everyone else just had a marshmallow on top. Good Job Emma! Malia was Elsa from Frozen Fever, Sidney was a zombie nerd, Emma the pirate, Lexie was Evie from Descendants, and Olivia was the ghostly gal. The girls met up with Darth Vader and his sidekick. Allison joined the picture...she was a zombie hunter. Too cute.
Each class goes through the school for a Halloween parade. Marcus' class came through and he shouted "There you are!" I snapped a few pictures of Marcus when the girls' class went through 2nd grade. Here is Marcus with Marissa. Cute. The girls' class had a real party...with pin the gum on the witch and everything! Yes, it was chewed up gum...good job Emma; right on her nose (Olivia opted out of this activity)
Javin and Marcus came to the 4th grade class when it was time to go. Javin is Storm Shadow from GI Joe so these two go together perfectly.
Happy Halloween!!!
