Work Day

I came home from grocery shopping to find this scene in the field. Marcus looks right at home in the bucket, doesn't he? Marc got Marcus close enough to clean the bees' nests off of the shop. Marc is tilling up our field with a plan for a pumpkin patch this year. Can't wait to grow some pumpkins!

 

Big Horn Show

Last weekend was the Big Horn Show.  The Duck Dynasty characters were there. The kids went mining.  They got lots of crystals. We ran into a real live turtle! And the kids got to hold a real live alligator. Marcus got to go to the shooting range too. Overall it was a lot of fun.

  

Raymond Came to Visit

We had a visitor last weekend!  Uncle Raymond!  We went out to Jordan and Kallie's new house...but of course I didn't bring my camera.  It was a fun weekend hanging out with Raymond.  (Marcus ended up getting sick so he didn't make the picture).

Dr Suess Week

The first week of March is always Dr Suess week at school.  The first day was Hat Day.  Marcus ended up making an appearance on the school district's facebook page with his best friend Javin.  Those sure are some cute cowboys.

There was also a Crazy Hair Day.  The girls asked me to braid their hair.

The next morning they woke up to finish their crazy hair.  Marcus put lots of gel  in his hair.  He really wasn't in the mood for pictures that day though.

To my surprise, Emma took her braids out!  She put it in a ponytail (same as everyday)...

But added some pipe cleaners for the crazy.

Olivia added some pipe cleaners too.  Emma actually helped with this...I had nothing to do with it at all.
