Carving Pumpkins

We got 13 pumpkins out of our garden this year...so we thought we better carve some.  The kids did all the dirty work.

Emma loved getting messy.

Olivia enjoyed it too even though she was up all night with the stomach flu...she said she's feeling a little better...the pumpkin guts didn't seem to get to her luckily.

Marcus was having tons of fun.

They each drew faces with marker and I carved them out.  They did some extra decorations too.

So cute...Olivia's, Marcus', Emma's

Marcus got to go to Green Bluff with his class this year.  He got a small pumpkin there.  He wanted to just color on it.  He drew a face on the front.

And Russel Wilson throwing a touchdown pass on the back.  See the goal post?  He came up with that one all on his own.

Of course we had to roast the seeds too.  Emma was the cook today.

Halloween Preview

The kids got to dress up today for early Halloween fun.

Marcus is Optimus Prime this year.

Emma is a Gypsy (or fortune teller if you ask her)

Olivia is a Greek Goddess.

Pretty cute!

Love them!

A quick peek through the spider web.

And picture by the gate.

I wanted to see Marcus' face so he let me.

Emma.

Olivia.

Super cute!

We drove to Deer Park for the Pumpkin Lane.

Harlow met us too.

We started at Yokes and did some trick or treating around town.

The fire department was there too.

They let Marcus sit in the truck.

Emma too...Olivia didn't want to.

Smokey the Bear was there!

Remember these girls from Chitaqua this summer?

The whole town participated...look at all the people lining the streets.

We walked far!

It was lots of fun.

There were ponies there too.

Emma got to pet one.

Olivia did too.

It even rained on us; but the kids didn't care.

There was a lot to do and see.

Lots of candy too.

Look at those cute faces.

Marcus was excited to see the Rodeo queens.

Olivia ended up with my hat by the end...it got a little chilly and it down poured on us at one point...but overall it was a good time!

Last Game of the Season

The girls got to hold the Wildcats sign for the last game this morning.

Getting ready...

One last huddle before the game.

Go Wildcats...there's Marcus, #50, breaking through.

It was finally football weather; we've been spoiled all season but it was chilly this morning.

Nice tackle boys!

There's #50 on the field.

Marcus was cold too...

He put his hands in his shirt to try to keep warm.

Back out there...Marcus worked his way up to starting defense.  He really picked it up this season!

There's the defense.

Ready....Set...

There they go!

Half time picture with his fans.

This is Aiden and Trestin...we hung out with their parents most of the season.

One last Wildcat huddle for the season.

Good Game Boys!

And one last tunnel.

Nice season Marcus...he was sad to see it end.
