Pumpkin Patch

Nana and Papa stopped by for some pumpkin donuts and cider at Green Bluff.

Traveling Team

 

We drove 3 1/2 hours to Wenatchee for Marcus' football game last weekend!  This is serious business! 

 

 

Marc and the girls are ready for some football after the long drive.

 

The girls are very supportive of their brother.

 

 

Grami and Poppi were there too...I stole some pictures from Grami...the Wildcats are ready to go!  The team Moms couldn't make it so I had to step in to hold the sign.

This was their 3rd game...they are really starting to gel now.

Half time!  It was HOT!

 

Kimmie, Colby, Elle and Baylor came to cheer Marcus on too!

The Wildcats win again!  So far they are undefeated! 

 

One tired little Wildcat with his fans...thanks for coming everyone!  It was a fun trip...we headed right back home when it was done...this is only the beginning of these away games for sure!

2014 Mutton Busting

 Marcus did Mutton Busting again this year.  This might be his last year since you have to be under 60 pounds.

 

His sisters were there to cheer him on.

 

 

He got all of his gear on...ready to go.

 

Go Marcus...look at him ride!

 

 

He rode that sheep all the way to the end...he rode longer than the required 6 seconds!  He received 79.5 total points and was the rider to beat! 

 

We watched the rest of the kids go...great job Marcus!

 

And the end result...Marcus took 1st place!

 

 

We were so proud. 

 

He's a real live cowboy!

 

His sisters were pretty excited for him.  He was pretty excited too.

 

We had to come back to the fair later so Marcus could participate in the championship round. 

 

 

There were 25 kids total...only the 1st place kids from each round could participate.

 

Marcus did an awesome job in the championship but did not score unfortunately.  He was so proud of himself though and had a ton of fun.  Because he took 1st in his round he actually qualifies to compete in Fresno, CA too...pretty cool Marcus. 

Fair 2014

 

We took the kids to the fair today.  Easton, Jordan and Kallie joined us too.

 

 

 

We walked through the barns to see all the animals.

 

Marcus signed up for Mutton Busting again...he had to check out all those sheep.

 

We took a few family photos.

Marcus climbed too, but this was after he did Mutton Busting (that will be covered in the next post).

 

The girls rode the ponies too.

 

This was all Olivia wanted to do...so happy!

The last thing we did was let the kids jump from the stunt area...Marcus was a little worried but he did it!

 

There was no fear in Emma.

 

Olivia just jumped right off too...these kids are amazing!  We had a great time all around...we love the fair!

Happy Birthday Sophie

 

We went Idaho to help celebrate Sophie's birthday on Saturday.  They had cool apple trees down the road from their house and Gramie wanted the kids to pick some for her.  Marcus climbed right up into the tree...no fear here.

 

Emma climbed a tree too.

 

There's the birthday girl, Sophie. 

 

The big girls...so glad we all get to see each other more often now.  These 4 get along great.

 

Gia kept an eye on the bucket.

 

And her new puppy...isn't she the cutest?

 

Marcus helped Poppi carry the apples back.  They got a ton!  We had dinner and cake...it was so much fun!  Happy Birthday Sophie; thanks for having us over to celebrate!
