Gonzaga Basketball Camp

Marcus, Olivia, Kaydin and Emma attended the Gonzaga Basketball Camp this week.  Cruz was there for support.  This was day 1.  Kristin said there were so many kids there she was glad these guys had each other.  She said it was very intimidating.

 

Day 2...they were ready for more.  It was a 3 day camp.  They got new basketballs, t-shirts and trading cards from both men's team and women's team.  Some of the GU players were the coaches for the camp so the kids got to meet several of them.  Olivia and Emma's favorite was Kevin Pangos.  Olivia said she LOVES Kevin Pangos...we said he's a good guy to love :-)  Marcus really liked Gary Bell Jr.  The kids called him Harry.  They even got autographs from the players on the trading cards.  What a great camp!  I think we'll do this one again next year. 

Deer Lake

 

Chad was out on Deer Lake yesterday so we headed up there to hang out.  The kids rode the tube.

Big Storm!

Wednesday night a huge storm rolled through and did a lot of damage in our neighborhood...here is a sampling...

We were without power for about 36 hours.  It was pretty amazing that a storm could cause this much damage.  So glad no one was seriously hurt and our property did not suffer too much damage.

Alaska

Marc fulfilled his dream earlier this month by going to Alaska and fishing for a week.  Ryan sent us pictures throughout the week to show us what they were up to.  Here are a few...

Day on the River

 

We were invited out to a good friend's cabin on the river today.  It was 101 degrees in town so we jumped at that chance.  The first thing the kids did was jump in the tube.
