Happy Easter!

Good Morning

The kids woke up before us and were very noisy...they were looking for eggs that the Easter Bunny hid around the house.  I barely got my camera before they got all the eggs!

Marcus is showing off his new sunglasses that the Easter Bunny gave him.

Olivia spotted some more eggs.

Olivia was nice enough to let her little brother find some too.

Another Easter Bunny gift...it is an activity book and it was a hit!

Look at all those eggs Emma found.  Emma got a drawing book.

Olivia did too!

They also got new sunglasses...of course everyone got lots of candy too!

Easter Eggs

We started dying eggs yesterday afternoon but then we had company over for a BBQ so it was put on hold.

Marcus ended up not feeling well and fell asleep before dinner...he was out for the night.  So the girls dyed eggs without him.

They did a great job.

Such a big girl!

They made them really pretty.

Emma wanted to show her eggs off.

Marcus woke up Easter morning and decided to join in on the fun.

Waiting for the color to set in.

He decorated with stickers.

Emma helped a little too.  Fun times!

Kindergarten Egg Hunt

We went back to the school for the Kindergarten egg hunt at 1:30.  The kids made these adorable ears.

Look at those cute Kindergartners.  So different from the second graders.  These kids were so cute and a little wild.  Mrs. Fissler-Jones does a great job with them.

They had instructions to find 5 eggs then back to the steps.

They immediately had to check out their eggs.

It was hard to wait.

Then off they go again to find more eggs.

Pretty cool!

Marcus points out more eggs.

And the kids run to get them.

Good Job Marcus.

Marcus spots more eggs and snatches them up.

So fun!

What a great time.

Marcus is the line leader...he did a great job.

Look at all those eggs.  Happy Easter!

2nd Grade Egg Hunt

Today was the egg hunt at the school.  The 2nd graders were at 9:45am.  We started out with a group photo.

Mrs. Morlan gave instructions...first they were to grab 10 each.

Off they went.  Olivia went one direction.

Emma went another.

Back to the steps to make sure they got 10 each.

Then off again to collect more.  They each ended up with 18.

We adults had to hide them...there were 424 eggs total!  We had a lot of eggs just sitting on the grass.

What a blast!

Baskets are full!

Then we headed back to the class for a brunch.  Raymond even came to help.  The juice boxes were a must for the boys.  Marc proudly passed his journeyman test yesterday and they celebrated hard last night...they needed to rehydrate :-)

Quick selfie with Mommy and Emma.

A Mommy and Olivia selfie too.

Malia and Lexie got all dressed up...and wore the same dress even!  For the record, they are not twins...or even sisters!  What a fun morning!  We'll head back to the school at 1:30 for Marcus' egg hunt next!
