Art Birthday Party

 

We celebrated Kaydin's 7th birthday this weekend with an Art Party!  We got to the party and there were canvases ready for paint.  Marcus and Cruz were together on a table.

 

The other kids painted on canvases that were nailed to a large easel.  Emma's working on her masterpiece.

 

Olivia was right at home...she loves art.

Homework

 

Marcus was doing his homework last week while I was cleaning the kitchen.  I checked his work and he wanted to draw while I finished the kitchen...I didn't realize he was drawing on the back of his homework.  I just had to share this...he said he needed to decorate his homework for his teacher (Mrs. Fissler-Jones).  The 1001 in the corner tells you the leprechaun's age.  The number 16 is his homework number and of course he has the date written down just like he is supposed to.  Nice job Marcus!

Almost Done

Basketball season is winding down.  We only have one game left!  The girls have come a long way.  Here is Olivia as point guard.

They are having a blast and said they are sad it's coming to an end.  So glad this was a good experience.  We will be back again next season for sure!  We even started clearing off our outdoor basketball court at the house so they can all practice.

Last week was team pictures for basketball.  We had the first game so our pictures were after our game.  The line was so long that several parents did not want to stay so we decided to wait until this week and take our own.  The first was a fun one.
