Family Affair

We traveled to Homedale, ID for a family wedding this weekend.  Marcus, Baylor, Elle, Olivia and Emma were all in the wedding.  We started off the weekend on Friday helping to decorate.  The bride is Marc's cousin's daughter...she actually was one of the flower girls in our wedding 14 years ago!  Hard to believe!

Here's the beautiful bride, Cijae.  We finished Friday with a rehearsal and dinner at the wedding site.

Saturday morning Marcus got to go with the gun club (same location as the wedding) with the big boys and a few of the girls.  He had an important job of pushing the button to let the clay fly for the shooters to get.  Marc said he did an amazing job...Marc was one proud Daddy.

Saturday evening was wedding time!  They had a cute little area for photos.

Here are the kids...ready for the wedding.  Way to cute!

Quick family photo...we couldn't resist.

Olivia puts up one of the photo props...Congratulations!

The bride at groom at the alter.  They planned to be married in a field but about 40 minutes prior it started to rain so we went to plan B and moved indoors...it worked out perfectly.

These are the signs the kids held up when they came down the aisle.  Elle had rose pedals she threw for the bride.  Marcus' sign is on a fishing pole...it was very cute.

Another quick photo of the family.

The wedding party (minus Marcus and Baylor...they weren't interested in pictures by this point).

Fun photo...the girls pulling Cija away while the boys push Mikey towards her.

Marc and his girls.

Uncle Carl and the bride...her Papa.

Mother and son...Marcus wanted some pictures with Mommy...such a sweet boy.

I sure do love this kid...he's definitely got his Mommy's heart.

Marc danced the night away with the girls...they had a ball.

He taught Emma some country dancing.

Alyx, Cijae's sister, was the Maid of Honor.  The girls really enjoyed hanging out with her this weekend...she was also in our wedding!!!  She was only 2 then!!!

Nikki and Marc, cousins...Hard to believe Nikki's little Cijae is married!  Congratulations to Cijae and Mikey...thanks for letting us be a part of your big day!

Project Complete

Last weekend we went to Raymond's Open House Party...he finally completed his house and it is AMAZING!  I only took a few sneak peak pics inside...this is the view from the front entry.

The view of the entry...such an amazing door!  To the left of the door (from this view) is a den with the coolest desk (not sure why I didn't take pictures).  It is made from an old airplane!  The right of the entry is his mud room/laundry room.  There are 2 bathrooms after those rooms on either side too.

This is a very sweet tribute to Raymond's Mom...words she lived by.  Very nice touch!

The sides of that shiny chair is airplane material as well...matches the desk in the den...so cool!

The finished kitchen.  Completely Raymond's style..very sleek!  The garage door was a nice touch; opens to the huge deck outside.

Here is the view with the open garage door.

This is upstairs.  The kids got to watch 3-D movies on the TV...very high tech.  Behind them is a cool bathroom and the other side of the wall with the TV is a bedroom.  To the back of the couch is Raymond's master bedroom...again, not sure why I didn't take more pictures of this...everything was truly amazing.

The view from the stairs...there's little Emma!

This is the back all complete.

The kids posed in the front...it is such a beautiful place.

Cheese.

Raymond gave the girls a job...complete the sign for the Party!

Great job girls!

Marcus shows off the entry to the house looking into the street.

Raymond and Marc got the post ready for the sign.

We are ready to party!

Raymond thought of everything...a bouncy house and even a sno-cone machine for the kids!

Lots of friends came...the kids reunited with all their west-side friends.

There was lots of great food too.  It was a nice party to celebrate all of Raymond's hard work.

The weather was pretty nice overall.  On our way home I spotted this black cloud in the sky...thought it was pretty cools so wanted to share :-)  What a great weekend with great friends.  Congratulations to Raymond for the completed house...so beautiful!

Fair 2013

We are so busy that we didn't think we'd have time for the fair this year...well the kids broke down so we made time tonight.  Olivia picked the pony rides again this year.

They went a little faster this year; she had a lot of fun.

She looked like a natural...love that smile!

Emma actually picked the pony ride this year too!

She thought it was lots of fun.

Marcus of course wanted to do the mutton bustin.

We ran into one of the girls' school friends, Jacob.

Marcus was first up in the mutton bustin.

He was ready!  It was 90 degrees out but he was in long sleeves and jeans!  A true professional!

What a cutie!

And he's off!  Look at that form...he's holding on tight.

And continues to hold on!  Go Marcus Go!!!

And off he falls.  He made it the farthest he's ever gone this year!

Jacob competed too and did very well also.  Marcus is getting pretty big...I think he's only got one more year of this until he is to big for it.  What a brave kid!  No fear what so ever!  Love it!
