Firemen Save The Day

Some people call the fire department for emergencies...we call them to come rescue us from all the leftover cake from birthday parties (or in this case cupcakes!).  I haven't met a fireman that can say no to cupcakes!  Thanks Scott and the other firemen for eating our left overs :-)  This is the second year we've donated cake to the firemen...they always bring a cool fire truck when they pick up the cake...Marcus especially got a kick out of it today.  Marcus told all of us everything he knew about the truck...it was very informative.

We celebrated Olivia and Emma's 7th birthday yesterday.

Nana was our personal party planner.

Makayla was there for the fun.

Each girl had their own area for presents this year.  Since they get duplicates of everything I sat with Olivia to take notes.

Emma was surrounded by friends...they got lots of great stuff!

Emma actually got some candy to fall on her second try..then we broke it open and the kids filled bags full of candy.

Another fun birthday party at our house!  Riley, Olivia, Aubrey, Emma and Kadin had a great time together with all of their other friends!  Thanks everyone for coming!

Camping Day 2

Day 2 started with a family photo.  I love that we are getting together so much this year...what a great looking family!

We made one last visit to the water and took a family photo of our own.

Poppi brought his boat so the kids got to go for a ride.

Camping at Potholes...day 1

We drove to Potholes State Park for some family camping last weekend.  The cousins were there too! 

They had the coolest park there.  Olivia took good care of Gia.

The reservoir was pretty cool too.  I forgot to bring sweatshirts for the girls so Olivia wore my pullover all weekend.  I think she secretly liked it.

Of course Marcus had to get in the water...

Then it was a race back to the campsite.

We had a campfire and made s'mores too!
