Spring Break Day 1

Our trip started out a little rough.  We planned to leave after work last night but the running lights on the camper didn't work...we left our house around 8PM as a result.  Then on the way there was a strange sound in the breaks of the truck...this resulted in a late start this morning due to Marc taking the truck to Les Schwab...we hit the road from Ellensburg at 9:45am.  It was pretty smooth sailing for a while...the kids were great.  Emma and Marcus are modeling the masks they got from the Easter Bunny yesterday.

Olivia's all smiles...all the while we were stuck in this...

What should have taken us 3 hours ended up taking us 4.5!  The kids did do well though.

We made it to our camp site in Westport.  We found this great tree...look at how well I have them trained..nice poses kids!

The kids brought their toys and rode around all afternoon...nice change from sitting in a car for sure!

Marcus wanted to take our picture...nice photo Marcus!

Emma wanted a turn with the camera too.  Olivia was helping Grami make dinner...Grami and Poppi are here too!  Our campers are right next to each other...it's perfect!

Elle and Baylor are here with their parents too.  They rented a house but came over for dinner.  We are gearing up for our first clam dig bright and early...stay tuned for more...beach day tomorrow!!!

New Additions

We welcomed two new additions to the family this morning.

They don't have names yet but I'm sure they will in no time.

They are exploring their surrondings right now and getting used to Tucker...it's good to have cows in the field again!

***UPDATE***
So Marcus came up with names originally - the black one was named Rocky and the brown one was named Justin Bieber.  However everyone's reaction to Justin Bieber made Marcus want to change it (he didn't like that people laughed at him).  So Emma named the black one Moo Moo and Marcus named the brown one Mason.  Good names...don't you think?

Big Boy

Marcus got a shaving kit for Christmas.  Ever since then he has been shaving with his daddy.  I hadn't seen it yet so thought I'd pop in one night.  Marcus showed me how it's done...first you put on the shaving cream.

See Mom...isn't it cool!

Be sure to get good coverage.

Then rinse your hands and get your razor ready (you'll notice there really are no razors on this).

Then you shave like this...

See Mom...it's easy!

Get every piece of hair.

Even under the chin.

Then rinse it off.

Oh, don't forget the nose hairs (that one cracked me up!).

Clean shave!  So handsome :-)

Reliving the Glory Days???

Marc joined a flag football team and today was the first game.  It was at a real stadium...Marcus was stoked!  He really wanted to be out there playing.

Marc was on the offense...here is one of the first plays...what an animal!

Discussing strategy with his teammates.

Coming off the field...look at how they all look to Marc for direction.  I'm so proud.

Watching the defense do their work.

The little cheerleaders watch on the sidelines.

Discussing more strategy...

And out again...hut hut....

Go baby go!!!  Hold that line!

Half time!

And second half...

The kids found Joe Albi...this is Joe Albi stadium after all...a few poses with Joe.

And a few more

Too cute!

The game ended with a loss :-(  Oh well...maybe next time.  We'll be back next Sunday!  Sure hope the weather is sunny like this for all the games!  I love the sun!
