Day Off

I got to take the day off with the kids today.  It's 36 degrees out so we decided to run some energy off in the snow.

The kids were very nice to pose for some pictures.

They also made some snow angels.

The trade off for pictures was that I had to pull them around the yard...that's hard work!  Tucker is getting into the spirit of pictures too...isn't this cute!

Love these guys!

The cows feeding trough has turned into an ice rink.  Olivia is quite the skater.

Opps...down two go.

Opps...more go down.

Oh what fun!  Happy New Year Everyone!

Play Dough

Nana and Papa replenished our play dough stash for Christmas...the creations came out in full force on Sunday.  These are Olivia's sculptures.

Nice job Olivia!

Snow fun

We don't have a lot of snow yet...but we have enough.  Marcus was outside most of today.  He's had strep throat and a bad tummy all week so it was nice to see him back to his old self again.  I was doing some outdoor chores and came down the field to find him stuck in a ditch.

He surveyed the scene to figure out the best way to get out.

Turns out it was pretty easy...just pull it out!

And off he goes.

Then he had to push it back up to the top of the field.

And off he goes again...weeee!!!

Opps...another crash...good thing it's a soft landing.

Tucker was there to make sure he was okay.

Tucker is just glad to have a playmate.  Too cute!

Christmas 2013

There was some hot tubing.

A little playing on the ipad.

Some target shooting

and rabbit hunting

Too fun!

Christmas Eve brought out new PJs and the cousin picture.

Merry Christmas from our three.

Story time...it was about Santa visiting all the different places in Washington.

Cookies for Santa and carrots for his reindeer.

Christmas morning!  American Girl dolls were the theme.  Emma was pretty excited.

Olivia must have been good this year.

Marcus got the Hulk.

Cool beds made by Kimmie and Colby...perfect for the dolls.

Mustaches tried by all!

Even a beard to match.

Setting up the camera...nice picture captured by Gramie.

Merry Christmas from the Oergel's!

Christmas Cookies

We decided to decorate cookies tonight.

The kids were quite excited.

Marcus was very careful at first.

Then he said the frosting just went crazy on him.

Olivia was true to her style...very particular about her cookies.

Emma was very careful  too but her frosting was pretty runny.

She had lots of fun though.

Finished product!

Can we say sugar high?

There might be a little sugar high here too.

Can you tell whose are whose?

Amazing!  I love Christmas!
