Last Day off...for now...
Daddy got called out for work tonight so the kids and I just hung out at home. The girls teamed up and painted. They worked really well together for about an hour and 1/2 before dinner. I didn't hear one fight and they painted several pictures.
Marcus came up from time to time and said "that's beautiful girls!" He was right...it was quite beautiful.
Then I made treats with peanut butter. I ran downstairs for a quick second and as I was coming up I could hear hysterical laughter. I came up to find them with spoons in hand and the peanut butter on the floor. Literally, there was peanut butter all over the floor, in their hair, on their clothes...Marcus even had it on his tummy! Needless to say it was bath time right after. They had a lot of fun though. Silly kids. It's back to work tomorrow :-( I've really enjoyed these days off...it's so hard to go back to work after these long weekends.
Monopoly
We introduced the kids to Monopoly last night. It was lots of fun. The girls did so well. They even started to catch on when counting their money. Olivia bought up the whole board right away and collected rents the rest of the game. We deemed her the winner. Grami...I think she could even give you a run for your money :-) We will definitely be playing this game again soon!

Careful what you wish for!
See it snowing? It hasn't stopped all day!
Marc was up at 2am again to plow in town. Then came home and plowed out some neighbors. He also decided he should clean off the camper...that's what he's doing here. What a hard working man!
Crazy Tucker likes to stand underneath and have the snow thrown on top. I think I had a similar post of Tucker a couple of years ago when we got all that snow. This year seems to be a repeat of 2008...I heard a rumor it was supposed to be that way.

The Sled is out!

It's here...
before bed...don't worry, I warned them not to stick their tongues to any poles.
I bet this little tongue won't listen though...it should be interesting.
They all made beautiful snow angels.
Have you ever seen more excited kids? They are ready...this winter should be lots of fun. I can't wait to build the snow forts and snow men...YAY!!!
Sharing
Emma was a great big sister and immediately removed it and gave it back to Marcus.
Olivia wanted in on the picture too!
We got to meet a new friend this weekend. This is Jen, Raymond's girlfriend. It was so nice to finally meet her after hearing so much about her. She was so sweet, she even brought the kids t-shirts from Seattle. We are all in agreement...she's a keeper! :-)
No snow yet...but we're ready!
Hmm...ice.
Olivia...don't eat that ice! YUCK!
Marcus got a hair cut...so handsome :-)

Quiet Weekend
We saw our first snow yesterday morning! It's still to warm for it to stick but it was definitely snow!
The kids were so excited; especially Emma. She said "this means it's Christmas time now, right Mom?" Emma thinks snow means Christmas so she was ready to get a tree and start decorating. I explained we still had to have Thanksgiving and she was okay with that.
Marc is hunting for a week so it's just the kids and me. I did some furniture rearranging to allow for extra room in my dining room and give the girls an extra dresser since their current dresser is too full. This gave them an extra deep drawer for clothes. The bottom drawer was already filled with their games and puzzles so it was nice to get that in their room too. Olivia has been spending majority of the weekend putting all the puzzles together.

Ellenore
Elle got along great with the big girls. She was right behind them every step of the way wanting to do everything they were doing. She kept up pretty well too.
Even Marcus was pretty good with Elle. Isn't this so sweet? It looks like they are just sitting there having a casual conversation :-)
Elle wasn't even scared of her Uncle Marc's "hunting beard". Even I have to admit I'm a little scared of that! Elle is one brave little girl! It was so much fun to see her and hang out with her this weekend. Of course it is always fun to hang out with her Mom and Dad and Grami and Poppi too.
