Big Birthday Bash

We celebrated the twins 4th birthday yesterday...yes, 4...I know, so hard to believe!

The amazing cakes were another creation by my Mom (aka Nana).

Olivia was very specific with her requests. She wanted flowers and butterflies and Belle on top.

Emma overheard Olivia's requests to Nana and put in her order for Aurora (Sleeping Beauty) to be on her cake.

The girls had LOTS of friends attend. The girls did a great job blowing out their candles. We had to do an indoor party this year. The beautiful weather we had the last 3 birthdays did not make it's appearance for this year's party. It rained all day and as our guests were leaving it was literally a downpour.

The girls each got the top tier of their cakes for their very own. YUMMY!

Marcus did pretty well. He was a really good sport being the only one of three that wasn't celebrating a birthday. This was the first year that he really did take notice though.

However, several of our guests had Marcus in mind and he did receive several presents. That was so very sweet of everyone. It made for one happy little boy.

This is the first year the girls sat and opened every present. Emma tore right through them and finished in record time. Olivia cherished every present. Every gift opened by Olivia received a "Wow, beautiful" or "Oh my goodness, this is great!" She expressed so much excitement with every item she received; it was precious.

Little Elle came to help us celebrate too.

My Grandma (Great-Grandma to the kids) came over from Selah too. We were so happy she could make it. It was so nice to have her there.
Thank you to everyone who came. The girls had an absolute ball and were thrilled to have so many friends and family there to help them celebrate.

Riverfront Park

My brother came to town to visit some friends so we met him downtown at the park today. First we went to red wagon slide...

Then we went over to the "blocks" for some pictures...poor Emma fell flat on her belly on the pavement and scraped up her little arm...she was so sad.

It took her a little while; it slowly got better.

Next we ran into a very nice lady that had a loaf of bread. She gave the kids some bread so they could feed the geese.

Olivia was very sweet; she made sure Marcus didn't get too close; those geese are mean!
Next stop: Carousel!

Then we hit the cool fountain. It was around 75 degrees outside...perfect for water play!

They were all soaked! Good thing we had extra clothes.

Thanks for hanging out with us this morning Uncle Aaron. It was fun to see you!

Cookie Monster

We couldn't resist this one. Marcus is our little Cookie Monster...he sure is entertaining and eats up all the attention. I have to say it has been quite the challenge getting the sugar high Cookie Monster to go to bed tonight...but I think it was worth the extra cookies...enjoy!

Potato Heads

Last night Marcus and Emma came running out of Marcus' room looking like this...they were pretty proud of themselves; we were rolling with laughter.

Emma even tried on Mr Potato Head's shoes. Too funny!

Good Night!

Remember this? We have a new star in the house. Marcus is about 3 months older here then the girls were in their video. So Fun! Good night everybody!

Roar!

Emma had a fever at daycare yesterday so we are home today. The kids found the lion costume and really wanted to play dress up with it. I thought it was funny how this one costume really gives a good picture of how different these three are in size.

It fits Marcus pretty well...

Whoa! Olivia is a little too big...it wouldn't even close in back when she put the paws on.

It's just a little bit small on Emma but really not too bad. It's so funny how much different the girls are...Olivia is moving int0 size 5T and Emma just barely got into 4T. No wonder people think we have a 2 year old, 3 year old and 4 year old.

Marcus really got into character too...
