Lions & Tigers & Bears...

OH MY! Did you hear Marcus say "he's scary" at the end?

This morning we took the kids to Cat Tails, a zoological training center not far from our house. They have lions, tigers, bears, pumas, leopards and more. Most of the animals have been rescued, some donated by show people and a handful were actually born there.

Birthday Fun

Makayla had her 4th birthday party yesterday at Jump and Bounce. That is one of our favorite places to go by far. Here is Makalya with Emma and Olivia...these three might as well be triplets...they are inseparable.
Marcus showed no fear once again. He tried out every thing in the place. He moved so fast at one point he had all of us searching for him. What a character!

See, no fear here. This is the biggest slide in the place and Marcus was on it non-stop.

Emma had no fear either. She too went on every single thing there.

Olivia too...just look at the joy on her face. I wish they had these type of places when I was young...I think I really missed out!

Tractor Trouble

On our way home we stopped at Grami and Poppi's house. Poppi was on the tractor doing some work and the kids wanted to help. It started with a ride for the girls.
Marcus waited patiently for his turn.
It was well worth the wait! Look at the smile on his face.
Won't be long before Marcus is the one driving this tractor. He would be driving it now if he could reach the pedals :-)

The Railroad Museum

We went to the Snoqualmie Railroad museum too.
There were a lot of cool things to see.
A photo with Uncle Raymond. We Love Uncle Raymond!

Overall, we had a great time on the other side of the State. It's always so much fun to go visit and see new things.

Snoqualmie Falls

We went to the west side for a quick trip to Raymond's this weekend. Sunday morning we decided to head to the falls to show the kids. Emma was super excited about it.
The falls were beautiful. The kids thought they were pretty cool too. They are really into the movie "Cars" right now and there is one scene with a big waterfall so they thought it was great to see one in real life.

Marcus loved to look through the railing. He did a lot of running around and climbing rocks too. He had a blast.

The weather was a little cool from the start but quickly warmed up with the bright sun. It turned out to be a really nice morning.

The Fort

I have today off for President's Day. I love 3-day weekends! Marc brought out this fort and we've been trying to figure out a way to put it up...I think I figured it out. The kids loved it. It came complete with glow sticks which they loved even more!
They actually had the lights off but my flash showed all their secrets.

The girls posed for a few pictures and then promptly told me to leave them alone so they could play with their fort.

Marcus wanted nothing to do with pictures; he just wanted me to leave him alone. I just love forts! I think we'll be making more in the future!

Happy Heart Day!

The day started off on the right foot. Everyone slept in until 6am (Yay!!!) and all were in good moods. Marcus decided to try on Daddy's boots this morning to see if they fit better than any shoes he has. I think they did; he seemed quite pleased. Marcus has a really hard time with shoes...he has the widest feet of anyone I know and we can't seem to find shoes to fit him. I think he might have the right idea here.

The kids got some M&M figurines filled with M&Ms of course. They were a hit!

They also each got a paint set with a book. Emma spent most of the day painting. She did some beautiful work.

Olivia painted in her book and in Marcus' book too. She also had some pretty impressive artwork.

Singing Sensation

What? You were doing a video?
Posted by Picasa

This was our entertainment at dinner tonight. Olivia just stood up and burst into song. It was hysterical! I had to grab the camera. She thought I was just taking pictures because it is my regular camera. Nope, I was making a video. She doesn't quite know the words, but the way she sings it; she's convinced she does :-)

The girls NEVER did this!

Daddy's job was to watch the kids while Mommy made dinner tonight. Daddy got sucked into the Disney movie "Cars"...Marcus came walking up the stairs holding a permanent marker and I yelled down "Daddy, do you know where your children are?" He said "What?" I proceeded to run downstairs and asked Marc if he had been watching Marcus...obviously not...

Look Mom...isn't it beautiful!

Yes son, that's just beautiful.

I didn't even get any on my hands!

Favorite Photos from Today

Today was a gorgeous sunny day so we just had to take advantage of it.

I took some pictures as usual and thought I'd share...

I didn't actually intend to go into the field but I ran inside for one second and when I came back out, look who was in the middle of the field. He just loves that field!
