Adidas
These were perfect for the swimming party today...comfortable and easy put on!
Birthday Party
We went to a swimming birthday party today for one of the kid's friends from daycare.
Mommy swam with the kids.
Daddy just sat back and watched.
Fun was had by all!
Cowgirl
The red cowgirl boots are getting too small for Olivia and Emma is finally growing into them. Who would have thought I could do hand-me-downs with twins! The only problem is that when Olivia grows out of something Emma refuses to wear it because she says "That's Olivia's!".

Some News!
We got to Kimmie & Colby's just in time for lunch this afternoon. They are working but were nice enough to let us have use of their house. The kids immediately ran for the backyard. They desperately needed the play time.
Seems like lately slides are for climbing up now instead of sliding down. I can't get the girls to stop climbing it.
Marcus is never far behind the twins.
We also got some news this morning. The main reason we are here is for a possible lineman job for Marc. He interviewed yesterday afternoon while the kids were napping. He was one of 9 interviews yesterday and this morning we found out he came in top 3. He has been invited back for the second round of interviewing! He also has a shot to get rehired at Avista in Spokane; they are doing interviews next week. Who knows what will happen...hopefully he'll get hired on somewhere soon.

Little Fishes
We are staying at a hotel in Chehalis tonight. It worked out well. The hotel was nice enough to let us check in early so the kids could nap. Then we went swimming afterwards....a nice break from the winter blaas in Spokane.
Marcus was a little fish. He was swimming really well...kicking his legs and swinging his arms...he's a natural.
Emma preferred the pool and swam like a little fish herself.
Olivia preferred the hot tub. She just sat in there and chilled with her Daddy. It was hilarious. She's going to be my little spa girl...I can just see it.
We met our good friends George & Mari and the Gehrkes for dinner tonight also. I just had to add...that was a disaster. It was so nice to see everyone, but the kids definitely were not in the mood for socializing. It just reminded us why we don't ever go out to eat. The girls took turns having to go potty...I think they each went 3 times! I didn't even eat...I spent the entire time in the bathroom! To their credit, they did go each time...I think the McDonalds at lunch was were we went wrong. Lesson learned!

Finger Paints
Olivia is very serious about her artwork.
Olivia didn't look at the camera once...she was so busy creating her masterpieces and she created many. She even painted her hands and face...now that's a serious artist if I do say so myself.

Happy Valentine's Day
Then we got dressed up in our new Valentine outfits from Nana...
We still struggle to get a picture of these three...but cute outfits...don't you think?
Then we went to dinner at Lorie and Greg's house. Greg made homemade pasta that was so good...Marc can't stop talking about it :-) Marcus hit it off with my friend Jen's youngest, Sophie (7 months old). They were so cute together. Marcus tried to tickle her too. He was very good with her. We had a great time. Hope everyone had a Happy Valentine's Day!
Why we had kids :-)
Emma loves to rub Daddy's head. Daddy really has these kids trained.
Marcus gave it a try too. He didn't last too long though.
Even Emma tried it out but she didn't last too long either. However, we just found out yesterday that she has an ear infection in both ears; so I'm sure the vibrations on her back didn't feel too great on her ears. In case you were wondering...yes, Mommy got a back massage too and it did feel great!

Mommy's Little Helper
and he pitched right in. He unloaded all of the silverware and even a few plates.
He did such a great job.
He was so proud of himself...Mommy is quite proud too :-)
