A B C
Emma was doing this the entire time at dinner tonight. She says "Oergel Power" at the end...something Daddy taught everyone :-)

Checking on things
The girls went to check out their play area and learned they can't get into their house now. The snow is like ice...very hard and compact.
They were able to climb onto their play gym and spent quite a bit of time climbing all over it.
Olivia even tried the slide, but it ended with a hard landing in the hard snow...she only did it once and decided that wasn't much fun.

Big Boy
Marcus worked on using a spoon and bowl tonight.
This is his usual reaction when the camera is pointed at him...sometimes I'm quick enough to catch it.
He even tried to lick the bowl clean. I'm not sure where he learned that; I can't remember the last time the girls did it.
He did pretty well. By the way, he undressed himself...I just decided to let it go :-)

Another Christmas
The kids are getting pretty good at opening presents. I sure hope they aren't getting used to this though. They are going to be expecting presents every week the way things are going :-)
Marcus got a cow to match the girls' bugs...what a hit that is! I've attached a little video below so you can see how good he is at it already.
Emma got princess jammies and she put them on right away. She wore them all day Sunday and even wore them to bed Sunday night. I had to put up a fight to get her to take them off this morning...she loves her princess stuff.
Marcus is 13 months old now...this is amazing to me because Olivia had just started walking at 13 months and Emma didn't walk until 14 months. There is no way they could do this at Marcus' age...He is a lot bigger than they were at this age too. Crazy how different they all are.

Cabin Fever
We tried to build a snow fort but the snow is not good packing snow. So we tried to dig out a fort in the snow but that didn't work so well either. The kids followed me around everywhere and seemed to be happy outside...however it was a little on the cold side this morning, so I made them go back in.
Looks like we won't be swinging or sliding for a while :-) Can you see the fence line in the background? Yeah...me either :-) That gives you an idea of how much snow we have here.
These are the trees in our front yard. I thought it was kind of a pretty picture for my little camara.

We need a break!
Can you believe this snow? Poor Marc is sleeping right now and going to go out to plow at midnight. He is very busy and his phone won't stop ringing.
We did clear off some of those monster icicles too. It's supposed to start warming up soon...so they say...I'll believe it when I see it.
Daycare for a week
The kids had a great time with Nana and Papa...it was really nice to hang out too.
This is our Happy New Year picture. Actually, Nana and Papa offered to watch the kids while Marc and I went to a neighbor's party. I can't remember the last time I went to a New Year's party! I only made it to 11pm but Marc made it past midnight! It was a lot of fun...thanks Mom & Dad!
