Playtime

Ok, so maybe "Playtime" isn't the appropriate title for this picure. Marc finally tackled the snow on our deck last night. We finally got a break from the snow today, but it's supposed to start up again tonight.

The girls play so well together which is very helpful when I'm tending to Marcus. Last night, they were unusually quiet so I went in to check on them. This is how I found them. What good girls! I'm so proud :-)

Marcus loves his little chair that he inherited from the twins. He already plays with the toys that hang down. He's growing so fast...makes me want another one...ha, ha, ha...just kidding.

Bye Bye Baby Weight

I don't normally make it a habit to take a picture of myself...but this time, I couldn't resist. It's still snowing! I was worried about our camper and the weight of the snow. I love that camper and I'd hate to have another repair bill to pay...so, I decided to sweep the snow off of it myself. My mother-in-law always says, never do a man's job, otherwise it will be yours forever...well if you know me...that is a piece of advice that is hard to follow. Anyways, Marc has been up at 3am every morning the past three days and I just felt bad for him. I had to help in some way!

Mt Spokane at Sunset

This is the view from our back deck. This is why I love where we live...isn't it beautiful!

Flashback

I heard Emma crying in her closet tonight. She wanted to be a lion but couldn't reach her costume. So, I put it on her. Surprisingly, Olivia wanted to be a lion too (it was like pulling teeth to get her to wear it on Halloween).

Emma didn't last too long tonight.

Olivia, on the other hand, wore it around for almost an hour growling at everyone. Isn't it funny how the roles change.

We have Snow!!!

We have had snow all winter, but now there's a ton of it! It started to snow Saturday afternoon and didn't stop until last night. It's supposed to start up again later today and snow for the next few days too.
Poor Marc was up at 3am Sunday morning and plowed all day long. He was up again at 3am this morning to go and plow again too.
This is the pile of snow Marc has made with his plow just doing our driveway this season. The ground is seriously flat behind us...we do not have any hills in our yard.
Marcus seemed to enjoy being outside for a short period yesterday. His snowsuit and hat are a little big, but isn't he so cute!?!

A visit from the Jennings

Our friends, the Jennings, came over for dinner tonight. They have three beautiful children. Their youngest is Ella and the girls just fell in love with her. Isn't she so sweet! She is 7 months old. It was so strange to compare her to little Marcus...just a few short months difference in age and so different! It just proves, they grow much too fast!

Under the Weather

Emma is not feeling so well today. She woke up with a fever, has no appetite and just sleeps. Poor baby...
Olivia is lost without her playmate. She was absolutely bored this morning. She sat in her Jump-a-roo most of the morning and just kept saying "Emma sick".
So, Daddy decided to take her to work with him today. That cheered her up right away. I just got off the phone with Marc and he said she's been singing and talking and is pretty happy right now.
Marcus is just hanging out and exploring his world as usual. Can't ask for anything more!

New Shoes

Olivia got new shoes! She begged to wear them today. This was another purchase during our visit to the mall the other day. We had the girls' feet measured and Olivia is now a size 7! I see size 10 in the future...

Emma is now a 6. Unfortunately for her, that means she gets Olivia's old shoes.

We're Not Spoiled!!!

Emma found the Elmo sprinkler a couple of days ago and would not let it go. She even slept with it! So, we decided maybe it was time to get her a softer Elmo. We visited the mall and went to Sears. There they were...right by the door...Elmos 50% off! It was meant to be. So, we purchased two and the girls love them. However, they are driving us crazy...all we hear is "Elmo Up...Elmo loves you...Elmo down please..." The vests the girls are wearing are from Marc's trip to REI yesterday too. Aren't they cute?
Marcus is as sweet as ever...he's sleeping soundly as we speak. I think he is going through another growth spurt though. We are back to every 2 hour feedings...UGH!!!

Miles of Smiles

It is very rare not to see a smile on Marcus' face. The best ones are at 1am too :-) He sure knows how to charm his Mom so early in the morning. Just when I start to get irritated that he is so wide awake at those early morning hours, he flashes his big bright smile and I just can't help but laugh. How did I get so lucky to have such a great baby! I count my blessings everyday.

Like Father, Like Daughter(s)

Feeding Baby...

Daddy's hat...

TV time...

Working on laptops...

Seems everything Daddy does, the twins aren't far behind. Can we say Daddy's Girls???

Welcome

Welcome to our blog. Marcus, Olivia and Emma are quite the characters. Olivia and Emma are keeping us quite busy lately...they are constantly on the go...I wish I had their energy. Marcus just rolled from his back to his tummy this morning. I'm not sure if it was an accident, but I put him in his crib on his back and when I checked on him, he was on his tummy. I think 6 weeks is a little early for that, but maybe he's just that advanced :-) We'll see. We will do our best to keep you updated on this blog. Stay tuned for more!
